Waar kom je te werken?

Van Heek Medical is a supplier of high-quality medical products. We specialise in products for wound, continence, diabetes and acute (first aid and BHV) care, as well as being a total supplier for healthcare institutions. We offer a wide variety of brands, including our own brands such as Heka, Hekura, Hekamed, Betica and Decifera. These products are developed on the basis of the latest insights and developments in healthcare.

Working within Van Heek means working in a friendly, informal company. Together with our team of about 90 colleagues, we work from our office/warehouse in Venray. There is good mutual contact and colleagues easily seek each other out.  

In this position, you will mainly work together with the other account managers, with whom you will meet every quarter. This keeps you up to date on what is going on in the regions and allows you to share successes and developments with each other. You will also work closely with nurses and our customer service.

Wat kom je bij ons doen?

As an account manager, you are responsible for offering Van Heek Medical's complete portfolio. You take care of direct and indirect sales to healthcare institutions, distributors, healthcare professionals and users. On the basis of your sales plan, you know where the opportunities lie and how best to approach the market in your region. You identify developments in the market, evaluate product results and identify & analyse customer needs. By responding to this, you keep existing customers satisfied and manage to bind new customers to our brand. Further activities you will encounter include:

  • You easily switch between different stakeholders such as buyers, (specialist) nurses, doctors and pharmacists;
  • Your sales process has a mix of relationship management, consultative selling and new business;
  • Within your existing customer base, you will ensure ongoing product awareness and up & cross selling from the range with the end goal of a preferred status for the brands and Van heek Medical;
  • Je neemt deel aan beurzen, seminars en congressen.

For this position, you will receive a salary between €3700 and €5500 based on full-time employment and based on the knowledge and experience you bring. In addition, you will receive the following fringe benefits:

Wie zoeken wij precies?

We think you are going to be successful in this position if you bring the following knowledge and experience:

  • Work experience in a commercial role, preferably gained in the medical market;
  • Resident and active in the North - West region of the Netherlands;
  • Experience with Power BI and Office 365 is a plus.

Furthermore, we are especially looking for the right person. It is important that you are strong in establishing new customer contacts. Your customer-oriented attitude and communication skills enable you to approach (potential) customers in the right way. You are independent, enterprising and convincing; you know where the opportunities are and how to exploit them successfully. You have the drive to persevere until you have achieved the desired result.

1. Je toont je interesse
We gaan met je in gesprek om je te leren kennen en te horen waarom je enthousiast bent over de functie. Zijn we beide na dit gesprek enthousiast? Dan gaan wij ons best doen om zo snel mogelijk een eerste kennismaking te plannen op locatie in Venray.

2. De eerste kennismaking op locatie
Dit gesprek gebruiken we om te kijken of er sprake is van een klik tussen ons beiden. Uiteraard krijg je tijdens dit gesprek de ruimte om je vragen te stellen en willen wij wat zaken extra uitvragen.

3. Het tweede gesprek
Ons eerste gesprek goed afgerond? Dan gaan we direct een tweede gesprek plannen! Op die manier kun je kennismaken met (een aantal van) je toekomstige collega’s en kunnen we zaken die nog niet ter sprake zijn gekomen nog wat verder uitdiepen.

4. Alle gesprekken afgerond?
We doen je een aanbod dat passend is bij je kennis en ervaring en lichten je graag toe hoe het arbeidsvoorwaardenpakket eruitziet. Uiteraard bieden we je de ruimte hierover met ons in gesprek te gaan en je vragen te stellen.
